Finally, after gathering dust in our hallway for half a year, our Zentasol panels have been mounted on our rooftop. Thanks to Maarten for effectively solving our fears and some technical trouble, they’re up and running. 4.7 gJ of solar power a year, contained in 110 liters of water. Simple and effective.

It’s an old movie but still fascinating and beautiful.

This is a London City Reverb Fifty, probably even harder to find than the Reverb Hundred.
It looks identical to the Hundred except for the 2 instead of 4 EL34 tubes.

Dutch company Novanex Automation created amplifiers and P.A.’s. It was was one of the first companies to produce speakers with integrated amps, resulting in a complete modular system called “Growing power system”. I scanned  all the brochures I had, no schematics.

Only a few of these Dutch amps were made. Basically a copy of a Fender Twin Reverb preamp combined with a 100 Watt (Marshall or Fender Twin design) power amp containing four EL34′s.

After a complete overhaul by Dr. Tube this amp is free of noise and hum and the sound is warm, dynamic and LOUD!

Sturdy full automatic turntable from Siemens, probably manufactured by another company. Switchable between quartz and pitch control. Selectable disc size (17, 25, 30), speed (45, 33), automatic lift and on/off switch.

[edit 9-5-2010] The unit bears a striking resemblance to the Sanyo Plus Q50. [edit] Confirmed that this is the same model as the Sanyo Plus Q50. See vinylengine forum.
